With an artisanal approach to furniture making, Connate products are all made-to-order and crafted by hand. All upholstery and case goods are made in Los Angeles, California. Since Connate was developed in Los Angeles, an epicenter of design and innovation, each of our Connate branded pieces are brought to life by local artisans and meticulously inspected to ensure exceptional craftsmanship in every detail.
We partner with the best woodworkers for case goods and cabinetry, and experienced tailors for our upholstered items. The natural materials, clean contemporary lines, and minimal palette of our collections is then showcased by the expert level of execution and detail by the artisans making them.
Creating partnerships with designers and artisans that have our same ethos is so important, and so we partner with only the best in the United States, and Internationally for our made-to-order, one-of-a-kind pieces.
Chiseled
Our stone slabs are sourced from local vendors and fabricated by the finest Los Angeles-based stoneworkers for locally made pieces. We also work with Italian stone smiths for carved stone pieces, that are carved from large blocks of
Italian marbles and travertines. Their attention to detail brings indelible artistry to each piece, creating monolithic and timeless tables and objects.
Wood Craft
Built by hand, sanded, sculpted, and finished to perfection by local woodworkers, our furniture is carefully and expertly crafted to ensure longevity, and created to be enjoyed for years to come.
Tailored Touch
Our upholstery is always made-to-order and crafted using techniques to ensure quality and comfort. Sofas are bespoke and built with 8-way hand-tied springs, a combination of down and foam fill, and completed with luxury fabrics and leathers.
